FSA betrays mortgage brokers on dual pricing despite TCF questions

The FSA have today detrayed the uk morgage broker market in defending dual pricing from the mortgage lenders

The Financial Services Authority yet again batter the mortgage broker and defend the lender and their dual priciing… Is this fair? Is this treating customers fairly? and is this a sign that the FSA are furthermore compounding on difficult trading conditions pushing the mortgage broker out of business?

In the letter Sants says: “How a lender chooses to distribute its products is entirely a matter for the firm to decide.”

He says lenders will not be in breach of any FSA requirement for distributing deals through its branch network as opposed to brokers.
